I may have missed the most exciting moment in the Arab World of our time. The moment an oppressed people overcame their fear, stood up to a repressive regime and its brutal police force, and peacefully forced a 30-year dictator to step down. Unfortunately, the people of Egypt’s struggle for freedom, justice, and democracy is far from over. My next updates will be from Cairo where I’ll be reporting daily for Press TV on the continuous developments as a new Egypt and a new Middle East/ North Africa unfolds. I am expected to be there for a month, maybe longer.
Continue to check back for updates on my trip and the events unfolding in Egypt.
Off to AFRICA.
